FACIM and FIKANI: the fairs that matter

FACIM, the Maputo International Fair held each year in Ricatla, is the country's flagship multi-sector trade fair and the main stage for launching into the Mozambican market. FIKANI, the International Tourism Fair, is the reference event for travel, hospitality and destination promotion. Both attract government, buyers and international delegations — and both reward exhibitors who prepare properly.

We take care of everything

From the moment you decide to exhibit, one point of contact manages registration and space selection, stand design and construction, decoration and branding, protocol with organisers and authorities, accommodation and transfers for your team, and the temporary importation of samples and promotional material through customs.

Before and after the fair

A stand is only useful if the right people visit it. We pre-schedule B2B meetings with local companies, distributors and officials, provide interpreters where needed, and after the fair we follow up leads, arrange site visits and open the doors that the exhibition created.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should we plan for FACIM?

Ideally three to four months. Space allocation, stand build and customs clearance for samples all have lead times, and late entries are usually left with poorer locations.

Can you build and brand the stand for us?

Yes. We coordinate stand design, construction, decoration and branding with local contractors, and supervise the build so your team walks into a finished stand on day one.

Do you handle protocol and official visits?

Yes. We manage protocol with organisers, coordinate VIP and ministerial visits to your stand, arrange invitations and provide interpreters where required.
